IX Online Imaginative Realism Arts Expo 2020

I am one of the official artists showcasing in the IX Online event. Due to COVID-19, IX has decided to move this years event online. I am proud to be exhibiting along side 200+ internationally recognized fantasy artists. This will be my 6th time exhibiting at the IX Artist's Showcase.

IX is the end and beginning of ever new year for me as an artist. Once I'm leaving an IX show, I am filled with enough inspiration and motivation to last me until the next year IX event. I immediately begin to implement ideas that can't wait to show off at the next year IX event.

2020 has been a roller-coaster of a ride emotionally and as a person which in turn has greatly informed my art. My hope for this year is to inspire others to be optimistic about the future. The best thing any of us can do when it comes to adversarial situations is to be creative. I wish you all the best of health.

My chosen medium is scratchboard. It is a challenging medium that forces the artist to rely on everything they know and understand about the value and volume of something that “exists” in the real world. The other thing it evokes is the notion that out of all darkness comes light.

For me, this light is the optimistic point of view I struggle with everyday, to encourage not only my own way through the world, but what I might lend in the way of inspiration to others.

Please feel free the wonder around my website as if we are together at IX 2020 in Reading, PA. The thing I most enjoy about being an artist are the conversations the arts can evoke among creatives and viewers alike.
